Equal Opportunities, Rights of the Child and UNRCPD

St. Gwladys promotes equal opportunities for all children, irrespective of race, culture, gender or ability. We ensure that all children are treated fairly and without bias. The school has recently been involved in a pilot project, commissioned by the Welsh Government, which encouraged us to look at ways in which the needs of disabled children and adults could be better met in the school and wider community. This is an aspect of work that will continue in the future. British Sign Language is being introduced to the children.
