ELSA: Emotional Literacy Support Assistant

St. Gwladys has several staff who have been trained to provide this programme. Regularly supervised by the Educational Psychology Service, the ELSAs ensure that any children who might be finding it difficult to deal with life’s challenges at a particular time are supported in a way that helps them to find their own solutions to any problems that they might have. In this way, the children are able to reach their potential emotionally, socially and academically.

Parents/guardians are always consulted beforehand and are required to sign a consent form before this work can begin.
